When an affiliate relationship is activated, eligible links are labeled and use the appropriate link relationship. A purchase may generate a commission at no added cost to the visitor.

For an exact product, PLACE KNOWS checks the easiest credible route for the visitor's destination:

1. Local Amazon marketplace with an exact match
2. Amazon.co.jp when international delivery is eligible
3. The maker or an authorized direct route
4. A credible specialist retailer
5. Forwarding only as a clearly marked fallback

For stays and experiences, official or established booking routes are compared in the same way. Availability, total friction, merchant reliability, delivery or cancellation terms and returns rank before commission.

Amazon is prioritized because its account, payment, delivery tracking and customer-service flow can reduce purchase friction. It is never used as proof that a product is locally valued.

Catalog, seller, price, tax, stock and destination eligibility can change. The Amazon page and checkout are the source of truth at the moment of purchase.
